PCR certificate requirement for passengers from India, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka

All passengers boarding from India, Pakistan and Bangladesh regardless of final destination are required to have a printed negative PCR certificate with a QR code taken no longer than 48 hours prior to departure. Passengers that are 6 years and below are exempt from testing.

Beginning May 3, passengers boarding from Sri Lanka regardless of final destination are required to have a printed negative PCR certificate with a QR code taken no longer than 48 hours prior to departure. Passengers that are 6 years and below are exempt from testing.

All passengers arriving into the Kingdom of Bahrain from any destination will undergo a PCR test upon arrival, on day five and day ten at their own expense. Arriving passengers that are aged 6 and below are exempt from arrival tests at the airport but are still required to provide a result for boarding. Avoid delays at the airport testing facility by downloading “BeAware Bahrain” and pre-paying for tests prior to departure.
