Zones in the Gulf Air network
For ease and the purposes of awarding Gulf Air Frequent flyer miles and loyalty points, Gulf Air’s network has been divided into zones as follows:
- Zone 1: GCC States & Iran
Abu Dhabi, Bahrain, Dammam, Doha, Dubai, Jeddah, Kuwait, Mashad, Muscat, Riyadh, Shiraz and Tehran.
- Zone 2: Other Middle East, Eastern Mediterranean & Karachi
Amman, Athens, Beirut, Cairo, Damascus, Istanbul, Karachi, Khartoum, Larnaca and Sanaa.

Zone 3: Bangladesh, India, Nepal & North Pakistan Chennai (Madras), Dhaka, Delhi, Islamabad, Kathmandu, Kochi, Lahore, Mumbai, Peshawar and Thiruvananthapuram (Trivandrum).
- Zone 4: Not Applicable
- Zone 5: Europe
Frankfurt, London and Paris.
- Zone 6: Far East
Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, Manila and Shanghai.
- Zone 7: Not Applicable
