Silver membership is valid for one year from the date of issue of the member's card.
Every Gulf Air flight you book earns loyalty points based on the distance and class flown. The number you accumulate in any 12 months will determine your level of membership. To qualify initially for Silver membership, you will need 1,000 loyalty points. If you want to retain your membership for subsequent years you will need only 700 per annum. As soon as you have travelled sufficiently to qualify for Silver, you are automatically entitled to the following additional privileges:
You receive an automatic extra baggage allowance over and above the allowance shown on your ticket of 15 kgs.
Silver members receive an extra 25% bonus miles on top of the standard mileage for flights with Gulf Air.
If you're a Silver member you receive waitlist priority over non-members if your desired Gulf Air flight is fully booked.
You can save time by checking in at the Business Class desks, even if you're flying Economy Class.
When you're flying with Gulf Air, you can use the Business Class lounges at many airports, even if you're flying Economy Class. (Lounge access is conditional upon members being suitably attired).
Our priority baggage handling will ensure that your baggage is among the first to be delivered to the reclaim area.
