How can I access my account details online?
Firstly, you if you enrolled through a paper application form or through an earlier version of the online application form, you will need to register for online services. The process is simple. Just click "register online" in the Frequent flyer area at www.gulfair.com You will then be taken to an online registration form where you’ll be asked to enter your first name, your family name, your date of birth (dd/mm/yyyy) followed by your 8 digit membership number. Once you’ve done this, complete the next form and you’ve registered.

To enter online, I need a password. What is my password?
In the online registration form, you will be asked to choose a password between 6 and 16 characters. Please remember this password as the system will ask you to enter this each time you log in to access your Frequent flyer account.

What is the difference between current miles and total miles on my statement?
The term total miles refers to the miles which you have earned since you first joined the Gulf Air Frequent flyer programme.You may have already redeemed some of these miles for flights or upgrades. The term current miles refers to the miles which are available for free flight or upgrade redemptions. |

Is it miles or loyalty points which count towards being upgraded to a higher tier?
It’s loyalty points, not miles, which count towards being upgraded to a higher tier of membership. Every flight, at any fare (with the exception of travel industry discounted fares) is credited with loyalty points and they are awarded based on class and zone. Detailed information on the number of loyalty points earned by zone and class of travel, as well as the number of loyalty points needed to upgrade to a higher tier, is all detailed in your members guide. |

Can I earn loyalty points when flying on partner airlines?
No, you cannot earn loyalty points by flying on partner airlines. Loyalty points are awarded based on your loyalty to Gulf Air which means they can only be earned by flying with us.
However, loyalty points are awarded for codeshare flights, the number of points you earn depends on the class you travel in and the routes you fly on. |

Are family members eligible for benefits and privileges?
Family members are not eligible for benefits and privileges of the Gulf Air Frequent flyer programme. These are reserved for the head of the account. However, family members as young as two can join the Frequent flyer programme in their own right and earn miles at the standard rate and enjoy all the benefits of membership; a more favourable option if they fly frequently throughout the year. |

Will family members earn miles when flying on partner airlines?
No, family members will not earn miles on partner airlines, they can only earn miles by travelling on Gulf Air. However, family members as young as two can join the Frequent flyer programme in their own right and earn miles at the standard rate. |

What happens if my flight activity does not appear on my statement even though my membership number has been quoted at reservation and my card presented at check in?
The tracking of member flight activity is automated,
provided you quote your membership number at booking and present your card at
check-in. However you are advised to check your statement regularly and if any
activity does not appear you will need to make a retroactive claim.
Just log into the member area of the website and you will find a complete section where you can claim miles for travel with Gulf Air, with partners and on behalf of your family members. |

I want to check my reservation with Gulf Air. Is this possible?
Under the Plan & Book section of the Gulf Air website, there is a link for My Bookings. If you enter your PNR and family name, you can view all flights you have booked with Gulf Air. Alternatively, if you have any issues, please call the local Gulf Air office.
