This year marks the sixth consecutive year that Gulf Air has been the Official Airline and Title Sponsor of the FORMULA 1 GULF AIR BAHRAIN GRAND PRIX. The event just keeps getting bigger and better and is now well established on the calendars of racing aficionados worldwide.
During the 2009 FORMULA 1 GULF AIR BAHRAIN GRAND PRIX there is always something going on, if it’s not on the track then it’s in the Formula 1TM Village where there are a host of activities, and of course the Gulf Air Pavilion.
And to complete your Formula 1™ experience, you can also purchase exclusive access to the Gulf Air Club along with your race tickets. For just BD 35 you can enjoy access for all three days, or for BD 20 you can enjoy access on Friday only. Entrance to the Gulf Air Club means you receive a privileged VIP car parking pass for two, a separate entrance to the circuit and of course, ultimate luxury in the VIP lounge with plasma screens to watch the race up close. A wide selection of food and beverages are available for purchase in the Club.

The 2009 FORMULA 1 GULF AIR BAHRAIN GRAND PRIX runs from 24 - 26 April 2009. Whether you are interested in visiting the Kingdom for a holiday over the Grand PrixTM weekend, or just want to fly in for the race day itself, Gulf Air offers an excellent flight schedule from around our network to visit the race throughout this period. AIRPORT TO HOTELS*
From the 20th April until 26th April 2009: Available every 30 minutes from 5am to 12noon and from 6pm to 1am.
HOTELS* TO AIRPORT
From 26th April until 27th April 2009: Available every 30 minutes from 6pm to 2pm.
AIRPORT & HOTELS* TO BIC
From 24th April until 26th April 2009: Available every 30 minutes from 6am to 12noon.
BIC TO HOTELS*& AIRPORT
From 24th April until 26th April 2009: Available every 30 minutes from 3pm to 11pm.
A complimentary shuttle service is available from the Bahrain International Airport to the Bahrain International Circuit for anyone with a valid F1 ticket.
