Gulf Air Begins Operations to new terminal at Queen Alia International Airport in Amman, Jordan

Gulf Air has transferred all its departing and arriving flights to Amman in Jordan to the new terminal at Queen Alia International Airport effective from today, Thursday March 21^st 2013.

The new terminal which is located in the existing airport location, features all new facilities including check-in-desks, duty-free shops, food and beverage outlets and lounges, providing an enhanced and more seamless travel experience for customers travelling to and from the Jordanian capital.

Air Traffic Control Strike at Raffic Hariri International Airport Beirut

In light of the planned industrial action by air traffic control staff at Raffic Hariri International Airport Beirut, Lebanon on Thursday the 21^st of March 2013, Gulf Air has been requested to change the departure time of its flights to and from Beirut on that day only.

GF 911 scheduled to depart from Bahrain at 1020 (Bahrain local time) will now depart at the revised time of 1210 (Bahrain local time). The flight is now scheduled to arrive in Beirut at 1415 (Beirut local time).

GF 910 scheduled to depart from Beirut at 1310 (Beirut local time) will now depart at the revised time of 1500 (Beirut local time). The flight is now scheduled to arrive in Bahrain at 1830 (Bahrain local time).

All passengers affected are being contacted by the Gulf Air World Wide Contact Centre.

Update to Closure of Services to Colombo and Kathmandu- Updated at 10:40am Local Bahrain Time

Gulf Air regrets to announce that the last dates of its flights to Colombo and Kathmandu have been amended as below.

The last flight from Bahrain to Colombo will be operated on 02 February 2013 instead of 10 February 2013

The last flight from Bahrain to Kathmandu will be operated on 17 March 2013 instead of 24 March 2013.

Gulf Air recognises the inconvenience this may cause and apologizes to passengers affected by the closures. A dedicated customer services team from the Gulf Air World Wide Contact Centre has been established that will be contacting affected passengers over the next seven days to offer alternate travel options.

Passengers are requested to contact the Gulf Air World Wide Contact Centre on +973 17373737 for any assistance or further information and are kindly requested not to go to the airport directly.

We would like to thank all our customers for their patience and support.

The following arrangements have been made for Falcon Flyer members who have booked their tickets on Gulf Air:

· Members who have booked tickets (with PNRs), but not purchased yet, will have their tickets automatically cancelled.

· Members, holding confirmed tickets for travel beginning on or after the above dates will get refunds via the channels they originally booked, i.e., travel agencies or third-party websites subject to booking conditions. Please contact them.

· Members, holding confirmed tickets for travel beginning on or after the above dates, who purchased their tickets online via gulfair.com, will get their full refunds through Gulf Air’s worldwide contact centre on 17373737 or other Gulf Air offices nearer to them, details of which are available at www.gulfair.com

· Members, who have already commenced their journeys will be offered the pro-rata value of flights for the remainder of their journey or will be re-protected by Gulf Air on another airline. Where a passenger selects to be re-protected, we will contact the passenger to confirm the details of their re-protected flights. Gulf Air will endeavour, where possible, to transfer the booking/ticket to an alternative available airline to the same destination in the same class of travel, subject to availability of seats.
