Modification of Schengen Borders Code
Gulf Air has been informed that a change in the Schengen entry requirements has been published by the EU.
As per the modified regulation non-EU nationals travelling into the EU will be required to present a passport that is valid for three months after the intended date of departure from the EU.
The three month beyond stay passport validity requirement is already a regulation in a number of EU countries including Cyprus, one of the EU countries on Gulf Air’s network.
Gulf Air recommends that passengers contact the relevant EU embassy of visa issue for more information.
