To qualify initially for Gold membership you will need 2,500 loyalty points. If you want to retain your membership for subsequent years you will need only 1,750 each year. If your preferred flight is fully booked and you have a fully flexible, unrestricted ticket, we'll do our best to find you a seat in Economy, or a higher class if possible, as long as you've called Gulf Air reservations at least 48 hours before departure. We make every effort to honour this promise. But there may be occasions, when demand is extremely high, where it simply won’t be possible. This guarantee does not apply to redemption bookings.
Earn a total of 10,000 loyalty points during a five year period and we'll be delighted to award you Gold membership for life. After that, you'll only have to take two flights a year with Gulf Air to maintain Gold status.
A companion who's travelling with you on Gulf Air can join you in the First or Business Class airport lounges, irrespective of your class of travel. (Lounge access is conditional upon members and/or their guests being suitably attired).
You’ll receive an automatic extra baggage allowance of 20 kgs over and above the allowance shown on your ticket.
Gold members will receive generous additional bonus miles of 50% on top of the standard mileage for flights with Gulf Air.
