Minister of Finance for the Kingdom of Bahrain
From 1989 to 1996 Shaikh Ahmed was the Head of Operations for the Bahrain Stock Exchange. In 1997 he became Director until 2001 when he was appointed Governor of the Bahrain Monetary Agency.
Shaikh Ahmed is the Chairman of the following organizations:

He graduated from St Edwards University, Austin, Texas with a Masters of Business Management.
