Gulf Air operates one of the largest Middle East networks and our strategic location allows us to connect travelers from Bangkok to many of the popular destinations enjoyed by Thai travellers in the Middle East and Europe.”
Gulf Air has had a strong presence in Thailand since its first flight in 1978, and currently operates 6 weekly flights to Bangkok. As one of the Middle East’s largest network carriers, Gulf Air is well-positioned to connect Thailand to several key destinations in the Middle East and Europe with excellent connectivity via its efficient hub Bahrain.
Gulf Air is a proud codeshare partner to Thailand’s national carrier, Thai Airways, since 2005. While Gulf Air connects Thai Airways passengers to Bahrain and beyond, Thai Airways offers the holiday destinations Phuket and Chiang Mai to Gulf Air passengers further extending the Gulf airline’s Far East network.
