Celebrating the spirit of Ramadan, Gulf Air has joined hands with Bahrain Islamic Charity to distribute Iftar boxes, to the needy during the Holy month.
The initiative, part of the airline’s corporate social responsibility plan, will see thousands of Iftar boxes, packed with dates and other traditional seasonal eatables being hand-delivered to mosques throughout the Kingdom.
Gulf Air Acting Chief Commercial Officer Mr. Ahmed Janahi commented, “As Bahrain’s national carrier, Gulf Air has always had strong ties to the local community. We view this initiative as a small gesture towards lending a helping hand to those who are less fortunate; the essence of Ramadan. I would like to thank the representatives of Bahrain Islamic Charity for helping us realize our goal of reaching out to those in need, and we hope to continue cooperating with them in future.”
