Gulf Air Announces Changes to International Flight Schedule to and from Egypt

Gulf Air, the national carrier of the Kingdom of Bahrain, announced changes to its international flight schedule to and from Egypt, effective from 15th April 2013, which will improve connectivity through the airline’s efficient Bahrain hub and cater to point-to-point markets.

This change will improve connection times and offer more options for passengers to connect to the rest of the Gulf Air network via Bahrain, in particular, to destinations such as, Abu Dhabi, Bangkok, Dammam, Doha, Dubai, Karachi, Kuwait, Manila, Muscat and Riyadh.

Gulf Air Egypt Country Manager, Mr. Ahmed Ali Ramadhan commented on the schedule enhancement: “We are very pleased to offer an improved schedule to our customers, catering to their needs and delivering upon our promise to ensure all Gulf Air passengers maximum choice and efficiency when it comes to their travel options. These changes are the result of detailed studies of our route network and passenger movement trends and we believe the new schedule caters to our passengers’ needs and will improve our passengers’ travel experience.”

Gulf Air, with one of the largest Middle East networks, is well positioned to connect Cairo to several key destinations in the region with 10 weekly flights and excellent connectivity via Bahrain to prominent cities in the Gulf, the Indian sub-continent and the Far East such as Dubai, UAE, Bangkok, Thailand and Karachi, Pakistan in less than two hours.
