Mr. Lloyd Cromwell Griffiths is an aviation professional, who has spent 34 years with British Airways (BA) retiring in 2007 as the Director of Flight Operations and a member of the Executive Leadership Team.
His specific expertise in working with international regulatory authorities and with trade unions had helped him achieve several milestones; notably, he led the BA Flight Operations Sprint cost savings programme, led new working practices and union negotiations with air and ground staff resulting in 25% productivity increase and 70% management cut and led the project team on new aircraft purchase programme including CAA aircraft acceptance, manufacturer negotiations and operational introduction into service.
A motivational leader and strong manager of large workforces, Mr. Griffiths has excellent understanding and experience of financial and customer service aspects of the aviation industry. He is particularly strong on leading innovative change management and cost efficiency initiatives through to successful conclusion.
