Mr. Khalid Omar Al Rumaihi is the Managing Director at Investcorp since 2002. As the Head of Institutional Placement Team, he is managing a team responsible for institutional clients in the GCC and for fund-raising in all five of Investcorp's lines of business: private equity, hedge funds, real estate, venture capital and gulf growth capital.
Prior to his joining Investcorp, Mr. Rumaihi worked with J.P. Morgan Chase as Vice President, Private Banking, and is credited with establishing J.P. Morgan's regional private banking office in Bahrain, where he built a $100 million asset book. In his previous position at Chase Manhattan Plc in London, UK, as a Senior Associate and later, as Vice President, Project Finance and Advisory Group, he was Involved in several successful project structuring and advisory assignments.
A Graduate in International Economics from Georgetown University, USA, Mr. Rumaihi also holds a Masters from Harvard University in Public Policy Concentrating in Economic Development.
